@marygreeno1 get surgery now! it is not painful when you have surgery. Depending of what you have!! and if it is painful.. just take pain killers afterwards!! if you dont have surgery right awayy.. when you grow up.. the symptoms will become arthritis... YOU DONT WANT THAT.

@carcarpickles27 It's been 2 months since my surgery and it feels better than it did before the surgery already :) I was going to do physio but then after like 2 visits my appendix got infected and I had another surgery and I havn't gone since. So in other words : 2 months ago had a knee surgery. 3 weeks ago had an appendix surgery.

I had an MRI done and was told that all was well, and i left the doctors office disappointed because i still did not feel well in my left knee. To date i still feel the pain especially when squatting or kneeling. What do i do? since i am a veteran seeing a va doctor.

The pain I feel when my knee locks up is frightening and unbearable. When it snaps back in place, I try to keep it from recurring by wearing an elastic bandage. Now that I know I have a torn meniscus, I'll see an orthopedic physician to have it repaired. I don't look forward to the rehab exercises, though. Good luck to all who've been through this.
